Writing

About Jean the writer...

Jean has been writing ever since she first had access to materials to do so.  She entertained herself by writing poems on thin strips of colored paper at age seven.  In other words, writing has been an ongoing passion.

She currently writes nonfiction and poetry.

Coming soon...

In Search of the Owl (working title)

This work is a memoir written during the first year after the death of her father, Levi L. Mohler, in April of 2003.  As she anticipated contact by her father, a naturalist and environmentalist, her year of grieving was infused with anticipation which allowed for thought-provoking encounters with nature.  These became threads for unraveling the mystery of life and death.

Watch for...

The poem of the month.

In the works...

Another memoir... about people Jean has met casually,
and how her life intertwines with them...
humorous, informative, thought-provoking, a must read!

(You’ll have to guess at the rest for now.)
